Comprehensive Medical Insurance

WHAT IS IT:

Health insurance helps lower your medical costs (doctor visits, prescriptions, hospital bills). You pay a monthly premium and in exchange, if you, or depending on your plan, a member of your family, require medical attention, the insurance company will pay all or a portion of that expense. You can enroll in a plan for yourself and your family. You can add extras to your plan like dental and vision insurance.

Full-Time Employees (average 30+ hours/week)


HOW TO REGISTER:

Eligible new hires can enroll in our health plan using Employee Navigator (www.employeenavigator.com, Company Identifier: CafeP) during their first 60 days of employment. Coverage will begin on the first of the month following their first 60 days of employment. All other eligible employees can enroll in the plan during annual open enrollment (every November) or in the event of a qualifying life change. If you are a part-time employee who would like to move to full-time in order to be eligible for health insurance, reach out to your GM. Health Savings Account

WHAT IS IT:

The HSA is a bank account you can use for medical expenses like doctors visits, prescriptions, dental work, eyeglasses or contact lenses and more. You can contribute any amount from your paycheck, up to the IRS annual maximum, and HSA Bank will send you a debit card for the account. Contributions are pre-tax which means you’re saving money on the back end.  Any unused money at the end of the year rolls over to the next year and is yours indefinitely. You can also use your HSA as a long term investment tool with other retirement accounts to maximize your after-tax retirement income.

Full-Time Employees (average 30+ hours/week) who participate in the Patachou Inc. medical plan


HOW TO REGISTER:

Eligible staff can enroll in the HSA at any time by registering at hsa.patachouinc.com. Once you have enrolled in the HSA, you will need to notify HR of your desired per paycheck contribution amount.


4 Reasons to use your HSA

  1. Tax Advantages: Since your contribution is taken out pre-tax, this lowers your taxable income.  You can use this money to pay for qualified medical expenses.

  2. You decide!: You choose what you would like to contribute each paycheck. This can be changed whenever you need depending on your circumstances.  (The IRS max to contribute in one year is $4,150 for individuals and $8300 for families.)

  3. The money is YOURS:  If you do not use the money by the end of the year, it stays in your account.  You take your HSA account with you when you leave.

  4. You can invest the money: You can invest the money saved in your HSA account.  These investments have a triple tax advantage as long as they are used for medical expenses.

Dependent Care Flexible Savings Account

WHAT IS IT:

The FSA is a bank account you can use for dependent care-related expenses like preschool, summer day camp, before or after school programs, and child or adult daycare. You can contribute any amount from your paycheck up to the IRS annual maximum and then apply for a reimbursement after you’ve paid for the qualifying service. Contributions are taken out pre-tax so they are not a part of your taxed income.

HOW TO REGISTER:

Eligible new hires can enroll in the FSA on the first of the month following their first 60 days of employment. All other eligible employees can enroll for the FSA during annual open enrollment (every November) or in the event of a qualifying life change.

Dental Insurance

WHAT IS IT:

An addition to our company health plan that can provide lower cost dental and orthodontia care. 

WHO QUALIFIES:

Full-Time Employees (average 30+ hours/week) 

HOW TO REGISTER:

Eligible new hires can enroll in our health plan using Employee Navigator (www.employeenavigator.com, Company Identifier: CafeP) during their first 60 days of employment.  Coverage will begin on the first of the month following their first 60 days of employment.  

Vision Insurance

WHAT IS IT:

An addition to our company health plan that can provide lower cost optometry services and help cover expenses like glasses and contacts.

Eligible new hires can enroll in our health plan using Employee Navigator (www.employeenavigator.com, Company Identifier: CafeP) during their first 60 days of employment.  Coverage will begin on the first of the month following their first 60 days of employment.  

Employee Assistance Program

WHAT IS IT:

The EAP is a Won’t Stop paid employee benefit program that helps you and your immediate family members find solutions to life’s challenges while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.  Assistance is available for life changes, stress management, financial and legal support, relationship improvement, family and parenting issues, substance use and more.

Life Insurance

WHAT IS IT:

Life insurance is a financial product you can purchase so that your family receives a lump sum of money (known as death benefit) in case you die. Your monthly premium (paid out of your paycheck) is dependent upon your elected benefit amount and other factors like your age and health. Policies can be purchased for yourself, your spouse, and your dependents.

HOW TO REGISTER:

Sign-up during open enrollment, every year in November.

Teladoc

WHAT IS IT:

Teladoc is virtual access to health care specialists, including general medical, mental health, dermatological, expert medical advice, nutrition, neck and back care. This is a great option for staff who are part time and do not qualify for the Won’t Stop medical plan.  Teladoc can also be used as a supplement to the Won’t Stop medical plan by providing free virtual access to health care professionals from the comfort of your own home.

Pet Insurance     

WHAT IS IT:

We offer two options for discounted Pet Insurance: Pets Best Pet Health Insurance and Spot Pet Insurance.  Pet Insurance is available to help ease the financial burden of medical treatment for your dog or cat in the event of unexpected illness or injury.

Pataperks 

WHAT IS IT:

We have partnered with like-minded, local businesses to offer discounted opportunities to our staff.  Check back regularly to find new partnerships! Partnerships include: Indy Massage Company, InCycle, Indianapolis Indians Baseball, Indy Eleven Soccer, Indy JCC, Ty’s Automotive, and more!

401K

WHAT IS IT:

A 401(k) is a retirement savings account you invest in now, let grow over time, and use when you retire. You fund a 401(k) with a percentage of your income, and that amount is taken out before you pay taxes on it. At Won’t Stop, if you contribute at least 5% of your total annual income, we match your contribution up to 4%. That means the company gives you free money for participating!

All employees over the age of 21

HOW TO REGISTER:

Eligible new hires can enroll in the 401(k) plan on the first of the month following their first 60 days of employment by visiting wontstopyou.com/patachou-401k. Your 401(k) is administered through Empower and contributions are deducted from your paycheck.  

5 Reasons to Contribute to your 401k

1. Tax Advantages: Since your contribution is taken out pre-tax, this lowers your taxable income.  Your contributions are tax deferred till you decide to take them out in retirement. 

2. You decide!:  You can contribute as much or as little as you want but we highly recommend maxing out the match if you are able to.  You can change your contribution at any time depending on your circumstances. 

3. Compound interest: The earlier you start investing, the more time your money has to grow.  Compound interest is when you earn interest on the principal amount of an investment plus any accumulated interest- so your interest earns interest.  So while your contribution may not seem huge at first, the compounding interest can really add up over time!

4. It’s your money: If you leave Patachou, all the money you have contributed to your 401k is yours to take with you. 

5. It’s easy: Since the contributions are taken automatically out of your paycheck pre-tax, you won’t miss that money. The money is deposited right away so it can start growing and earning that compound interest! Retirement can feel like it’s so far away but the sooner you start saving and planning, the less you’ll have to worry when it comes time to enjoy those golden years!

Financial Advisor

WHAT IS IT:

Won’t Stop Hospitality Inc. has partnered with Mike Ready of Northwestern Mutual, to provide employees with free, in-person retirement advice. He is available to help you set and meet goals so you can maximize your retirement.

HOW TO REGISTER:

Dine-in Discount

WHAT IS IT:

Staff are entitled to a 50% discount on most menu items ordered while dining as a guest in any location, excluding Public Greens and Bar One Fourteen. Dining discount applies only to the employee’s food and non-alcoholic beverages (excluding tax and gratuity).  Dining companions will be charged full price.

Introduce yourself and tell your server where you work so they know to have their manager discount your check. Make sure to always tip on the pre-discounted total. 

Won’t Stop University: Finance 101

WHAT IS IT:

Won’t Stop Hospitality Inc. offers financial literacy classes to all staff. These classes teach you to understand and talk about money confidently using simple, approachable terms; control your financial life and set obtainable goals; and become a conscious spender who makes informed purchases without guilt and regret.

Short-term Disability

WHAT IS IT:

Short Term Disability is a special type of insurance that protects your ability to earn a paycheck in the event that you experience a serious illness or injury. Short Term Disability provides coverage after a predetermined waiting period (called the elimination period) for conditions that would keep you from working for extended periods of time.

Eligible new hires can elect Short Term Disability via Employee Navigator (www.employeenavigator.com, Company Identifier: CafeP) during their first 60 days of employment.  Coverage will begin on the first of the month following their first 60 days of employment.  
 

Paid time off (PTO) -Executive and Management

WHAT IS IT:

Executive, management, and administrative team members are eligible for PTO to be used towards vacation and sick time.  PTO is tiered, based on position and tenure.

Executive, management, and administrative team members, as defined within their Patachou Inc offer letter

HOW TO REGISTER:

Eligible staff receive PTO annually on January 1st. Up to 50% of your remaining year end balance will rollover, up to the tiered maximum. Requests are submitted via the Paylocity website or mobile app. Balances can be found on your paystub.   

Paid time off (PTO) -Hourly staff

WHAT IS IT:

Planning a vacation? Have an important doctor’s appointment? While every effort will be made to accommodate you, please remember that a request is just that, a "request." If the business demands that we schedule you, you will be expected to come to work on time with the appropriate workplace attitude. Help us out by putting in your request as early as possible so that we can plan accordingly!

WHO QUALIFIES:

All Won’t Stop employees who have been with the company for over six-months will qualify for paid time off (PTO).

Full-Time Hourly Staff:

   40-hours (5 days) of PTO during years 1 to 4.

   80-hours (10 days) of PTO after 5 years.

Part-Time Hourly Staff:

   16-hours (2 days) of PTO during years 1 to 4.

   40-hours (5 days) of PTO after 5 years.

HOW TO REGISTER:

PTO is submitted through Paylocity.

PTO must be approved by your manager before being submitted to HR.

Paid Parental Leave: childbirth

WHAT IS IT:

Four weeks (20 days) of paid time off, for eligible employees that have given birth, to allow time for healing and recovery.

WHO QUALIFIES:

Executive, management, and administrative team members, as defined within their Won’t Stop Hospitality Inc. offer letter, who have been employed by Won’t Stop Hospitality Inc. for a minimum of two (2) years and have recently given birth 

HOW TO REGISTER:

Requests for parental leave must be turned in 90 days in advance and be approved by Martha Hoover and HR.  Proof of childbirth may be requested.

Paid Parental Leave: Bonding

WHAT IS IT:

Two weeks (10 days) of paid time off, for eligible employees after the birth of a child, adoption, or foster care placement.  

WHO QUALIFIES:

Executive, management, and administrative team members, as defined within their Won’t Stop Hospitality Inc. offer letter, who have been employed by Won’t Stop Hospitality Inc. for a minimum of two (2) years and have recently become parents through birth, adoption or foster care. An individual that adopts a spouse’s or partner’s child(ren) is not eligible for this benefit.

HOW TO REGISTER:

Requests for parental leave must be turned in 90 days in advance and be approved by Martha Hoover and HR.  Proof of childbirth may be requested.

PEER Fund

WHAT IS IT:

The PEER Fund was established to help eligible staff and their families with basic necessities during times of financial hardship due to circumstances beyond their control. While the PEER Fund is financed by the Company, it is also supported through voluntary staff donations which can be made at any time. If you would like to make a recurring, per paycheck contribution to the PEER Fund, click HERE. Assistance is given at the discretion of the Peer Fund Committee and is not guaranteed. If assistance is made in the form of a loan, the loan is repaid at a sustainable rate agreed upon by both the Committee and the staff member and repayment is made via payroll. Staff have applied for the PEER Fund to assist with the cost of emergency vet bills, funerals, car repairs, and many other hardships that have created financial unrest. WHO QUALIFIES:

All employees qualify following their first six months of employment, although circumstantial exceptions may be approved by Martha Hoover.

Employee Referral Program

WHAT IS IT:

Any current Won’t Stop Hospitality Inc. employee, who refers a candidate to the company for any open position, will receive a $150 incentive, payable as bonus. In order to receive the referral bonus, certain criteria must be met.

Won’t Stop Anniversary Program

WHAT IS IT:

Wont Stop’s way of thanking employees for their loyalty and tenure with the company. Employees will be recognized, celebrated and rewarded on select anniversary milestones.  Employees will be given access to an online catalogue from which they can select the gift of their choice.

Employees will receive a packet on their anniversary, at their respective location, with instructions on how to access their anniversary catalogue.
