The EAP offers free and confidential short-term counseling, referrals, and follow-up services for employees and their household members. Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP)
The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program provides food assistance to low and no income people and families living in the United States. This link will take you to the page where you can apply.

Women, Infants, and Children (WIC)
WIC is a nutrition program that provides nutrition and health education, breastfeeding support, healthy food, and referrals to other services free of charge to Indiana families who qualify. WIC stands for the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children. The link takes you to the page where you can start your application process.

Third Party Financial Assistance (Patachou cannot guarantee assistance from these third party options)
The United States Bartender’s Guild (USBG) Foundation’s COVID-19 Relief Page
Jameson US just pledged $500k to help US Bartenders. If you are looking for emergency assistance, you may qualify for a grant from the USBG National Charity Foundation. Visit their website for more information and to apply.

National Restaurant Association Restaurant Employee Relief Fund
Apply for a grant starting Thursday, April 2, 2020. Each approved grant is $500, one per person only. See Eligibility Requirements listed here.

Indiana Restaurant and Lodging Association Relief Fund
If you are an adult (18+) who has worked on a part-time or full-time basis in the hospitality industry in Indiana for at least 90 days in the last year, you are eligible for consideration for a one-time $500 relief grant.

Financial Center Credit Union Literacy and Assistance

National Restaurant Association Pharmacy Discount Card program – a new prescription savings solution for members of the National Restaurant Association. Alcoholics Anonymous (A.A.) and Narcotics Anonymous (N.A.) are both national organizations supporting those in recovery. A.A. is offering members digital meetings in response to coronavirus pandemic.

Chefs With Issues is a website built by writer Kat Kinsman. On this site, people involved in the industry (not just chefs) can share their stories and resources for dealing with the particular pressures of restaurant life, so that other people may feel less alone. Chefs With Issues also has a Facebook group you can apply to join.


Childcare Resources

Brighter Futures Indiana - Build, Learn, Grow is a local organization that helps parents find child care services that fit their needs. Scholarships are available for qualifying families (may cover up to 80% of child’s early care and education and out-of-school learning programs).
